My name is Nancy Fought. I am a lifelong resident of Ligonier. I'm the youngest of the Patrick siblings. I had previously spent a fulfilling 34 years as a licensed home childcare, before retiring in 2013. Through the years, I have been involved in many service clubs in our community. My favorite was Operation Foundation, where our goal was to bring unity and beautification to the city of Ligonier.
I am married to my spouse of 45 years, Paul Fought. We have three grown children Jodi, Andy and Chris. God has also blessed us with 8 grandchildren (and maybe at some point, 3 bonus boys) and one great-granddaughter. We enjoy playing cards, riding on our golf cart while sitting on our son's big porch on Main Street, watching people pass by. It has been a pleasure working at Yeager Funeral Home with my husband, greeting people and offering comfort in a time of need.
I am a lifelong member of this community and feel a deep connection to the people I serve. Whether behind the scenes or greeting. For over 40 years as a hairdresser, I have taken pride in helping individuals look peaceful and well cared for, serving with compassion and understanding for the families who love them.
Kenny and I have a family farm, two grown children—Tanner (Catrina) and Brittney (Brandon)—and three wonderful grandchildren. I especially treasure time with family and friends at the lake and enjoy traveling whenever I can.
