Andres Ibarra Rivera

 Andres Ibarra Rivera, age 72, of Ligonier, IN passed away at Goshen Hospital early Sunday morning, November 20, 2016. He was born on November 10, 1944 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico the son of Alejandro Ibarra and Guadalupe Rivera. On March 30, 1968 he married Juana Perez; she survives.

Also surviving are five children,  Andres (Maria E) Ibarra Jr., Mireya Ibarra, Juan A. (Veronica) Ibarra, Cynthia (Gustavo) Herrera, and Cristina (Jose Mario) Martinez;  grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Carlos Ibarra, Miguel Ibarra, Alondra Ibarra, Esmeralda Ibarra, Andrea Ibarra, Juan Ibarra, Mauricio Diaz, Emiliano Herrera, Sofia Ibarra, and Mayte Ibarra; two brothers, Silvestre Ibarra and Antonio Ibarra; along with a sister, Aurora Ibarra.

Andres retired from Silgan Plastics and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, both of Ligonier, IN.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 300 Ravine Park Drive; Ligonier, IN 46767. Father Fernando Gimenz will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN.

Family and friends will be received for a traditional wake beginning at 12 Noon on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767.  Memorials contributions may be directed to the family.
