Dolores J. Orona

Dolores J. Orona age 76 of Ligonier passed away on March 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1938 to Donald and Hermine (Garcia) Andrews in Los Angeles, California. Dolores married John Palmer of Ligonier in 1958. She then married Felix Orona of Fresno, California in 1980. Dolores was a very simple and happy woman. She loved and cared for her children and grandchildren and they were simply her main focus and life love. Dolores was known for her warm and friendly smile and she loved to share it. Dolores is survived by: six kids, Norma Brady of Fort Wayne, IN, Diana Householder of Oxnard, CA, David Palmer of Ligonier,IN, John Palmer of Goshen, IN, Sally Greer of Churubusco, IN, Janie (Art) Gutierrez of Ligonier, IN, and 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Diane Foote. A funeral service will be held at Yeager Funeral Home on Friday March 13, 2015 at 1pm. Pastor John Lutton will officiate. Family and friends will be received prior to the funeral service on March 13, 2015 from 11am-1pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ligonier food bank.
