Larry E. Reichard

Larry E. Reichard, age 72, of Ligonier, IN passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. He was born on February 7, 1942 to Dale and Maxine (Shriver) Reichard in South Whitley, Indiana.

He was a lifetime area resident and worked on his parent’s farm in Larwill, and also at Monsanto, Sorg Products, and retired from PVC Compounders after over 15 years of service. Mr. Reichard was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Larry loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed going to auctions, scrapping recyclable metals, fishing, mushroom hunting, and collecting coins.

He is survived by his four children, Tammie (Mike) Andersen of Iowa, Becky Reichard of Warsaw, Angela (Michael) Bales of Cromwell, and Dale (Nicole) Reichard of Argos; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three siblings, Randall (Donna) Reichard of Goshen, Richard (Michele) Reichard of Fort Wayne, and Janice (Tony) Clingerman of Kimmell; his former wife, Marie (Reichard) Helton of Church Hill, TN .

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter Donna Harold.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2-7 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.

A memorial service will be held in Mr. Reichard’s honor on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1 PM at Ligonier Nazarene Church with Pastor John Lutton officiating. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
