Diana Shearer- Sparks

Diana Lynn “Sis” Shearer-Sparks, age 56, of Ligonier, IN passed away Sunday morning February 5, 2012 at her fiancé’s residence. She was born on March 3, 1955 to Johnie and Barbara (Mullins) Sparks.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, going to the beach, caring for her grandpuppy named Patches, going shopping and Willie Nelson.

She is survived by her fiancé Don Conrad of Ligonier; two children, Gretchen Cobbs of Goshen and David (Kim Ramer) Cobbs of Albion; three grandchildren, Brooke, Paige, and Neomi; her parents Johnie and Barbara Sparks of Millersburg; five siblings; Sharon “Pud” (Ernie) Miller of Ligonier, Timothy Sparks, Tammy “Tang” (Harvey) Taylor of Ligonier, Johnie Sparks of Albion, and Mendy Sparks of Millersburg. She was preceded in death by one son, Mikey Eugene Shearer in 1973.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2PM at Shiloh Baptist Church at 709 Johnson St, Ligonier, IN with Pastor Ernie Miller officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Topeka, IN.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
