Chad Irvin Shepherd

Chad Irvin Shepherd, age 31, of Ligonier passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2011 at IU Goshen Health.

He was born on September 30, 1980 to Jan Woodworth and Irvin Shepherd Jr. in Goshen, IN.

Chad worked at Midwest Printing Equipment in Goshen, IN since 2008. He was a talented artist and loved to draw, was an avid sports fan, and was especially fond of the Chicago Bears and the Cubs. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and listening to Country Music.

He is survived by a daughter, Rylea Louise Shepherd; his mother, Jan (Mark) Woodworth of Wawaka, his father, Irvin Shepherd Jr. of David, KY; three sisters, Stacy (Mike) Hodge of Wawaka, Jill (Michael) Sparks of Fort Wayne, Tara (Tony) Mast of Marion.

A funeral service will be held in Chad’s honor at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 4 PM with Brian Walter officiating.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 1-4 PM prior to the service. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
