Zack Norman Ulrey

Zack Norman Ulrey, age 14, of Ligonier, IN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at home. He was born on December 31, 2007 the son of John W. and Billie Jo (Krom) Ulrey in Whitley County, IN.

He is survived by his parents, John W. and Billie Jo Ulrey of Ligonier, IN; a twin sister, Cloie Alley Ulrey of Ligonier, IN; sister, Danielle (Josh) Miller of Topeka, IN; nephews, Braxton, Logan, Lyric, and Myles; Nieces, Leilyn and Arie; Grandparents, Rick Krom of Albion, IN, Vickie Krom of Columbia City, IN, and Joanne Ulrey of Syracuse, IN.

Zack attended West Noble Middle School. He was funny and loved telling jokes. He really enjoyed lifting weights, playing football, and video games. Zack was loved by everyone and never knew a stranger. He was big and strong, but gentle. If you knew Zack, you were lucky. He was one of a kind, and he will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will be held in Zack’s honor at 2pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Stone’s Hill Community Church, 151 W Stones Hill Road, Ligonier, IN 46767. Father Andrew Nazareth will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN 46767.

Family and friends will be received from 1-8 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Stone’s Hill Community Church and also from 12-2 pm prior to the service on Tuesday.

A rosary service begin at 12:30 pm on Monday at the church prior to the start of the visitation.
