William B. Souder Jr.

William B. Souder, Jr., age 83, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at The Waters of Syracuse in Syracuse, Indiana. William was born on January 14, 1941 in Kokomo, Indiana to William B. and Emma (Snyder) Souder.

William is survived by his sister, Karen English of Sun City, FL; niece, Elizabeth Lindsay of Valrico, FL; nephews, Richard Burton of Kenosha, WI, Mike (Heidi) Souder of St. Petersburg, FL, John (Katy) Burton of Brandon, FL and Charlie (Maureen) Berfield of Keyport, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents.

William worked in agricultural sales for years. He served in the U.S. Army for 6 years where he had commendations for sharpshooting in pistol and rifle. William was an avid golfer and was a very generous man that donated to many charitable organizations.

A graveside service will be held in William’s honor at 10 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Oak Park Cemetery, Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN. Memorial contributions may be directed to: ASCPA, P.O.
