William L. Meade Sr.

William L. Meade Jr., age 72, of Ligonier, IN passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on August 2, 1948 the son of William L. and Marjorie (Adkins) Meade Sr. in Logan, WV. On August 2, 1968 he married Brenda Stricklin.

William is survived by his wife Brenda Meade of Ligonier, IN; a son, Derek (Melissa) Meade of Goshen, IN; and two sisters, Trudy (Rick) Williamson of Cromwell, IN and Debra (Farm) Nelson of West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sandra Acord.

William was a long-time employee of Freudenberg in Ligonier, IN. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing games with his family.

A funeral service will be held in William’s honor at 12:00 PM on Monday July 12, 2021 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Farm Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 am-12:00 pm prior to the service.
