Wendy Burt

Wendy L. Burt, age 43, of Ligonier passed away on December 8, 2021. She was born on June 30, 1978 the daughter of Richard Replogle and Susan Hinds in Abilene, TX. On February 16, 2002 she married Jeffrey Burt in Charleston, SC.

She is survived by her husband; her son Justin Ray Thornsbearry of Ligonier; 2 daughters, Alexus Rudd and Shae Burt both of Ligonier; 2 grandchildren; her mother Susan; a sister Rachel Haq of Texas and her stepbrother Mathew Hinds of Alaska.  She was preceded in death by her Father and stepfather Phil Hinds.

Wendy enjoyed helping at the local food banks and spending time at the Ligonier American Legion.  Her family meant the world to her and she spent as much time with them as she could.

A memorial service will be held in Wendy's honor on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 6pm at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Post 243 in Ligonier.  Family and friends will be received from 4-6 pm prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

A cremation committal has taken place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
