Victoria Grace Vliet

Victoria Grace Vliet , of Topeka, IN passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She is the infant daughter of Michael and Alana (Rush) Vliet of Topeka, IN.

She is survived by her parents; Michael and Alana Vliet; brother, Riley Vliet; sister, Savannah Vliet, both of Topeka, IN; Maternal Grandparents; Doug (Susie) Rush, of Wawaka, IN; Paternal Grandmother, Kim Vliet of St. Louis, MI; three uncles, Nicholas Vliet of Alma, MI, Nicholas Hoffman of Cromwell, IN, Douglas Rush II of Ohio; Aunt Felicia (John) of Wawaka, IN; along with many cousins.

Victoria is welcomed into everlasting life by her Paternal great-grandfather, Richard Vliet.

In the short amount of time, baby Victoria was known as a fighter and will always remain as a beautiful baby girl to her parents.

The Hardest Thing

Losing a baby is the hardest thing
That parents will ever bear.
That sense of loss and longing,
Will always linger there.

They dream of things that might have been,
and happy days they would have shared.
They wish they could turn back the hands of time
To tell their child again how deeply they cared.

Time will eventually dim some of the pain
But they'll never forget that child's face or name.
He'll live on in their memories for sure,
And their love for him will be constant and pure.

A private committal service will take place at Yeager Funeral Home followed by a cremation held at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
