Verlin L. Isaac

Verlin L. Isaac, age 46, of Garrett, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at his home.  He was born on July 13, 1977 in Elkhart, Indiana to Merlin Sr. and Lois (Hall) Isaac.

Verlin is survived by his parents, Merlin Sr. (Lois) Isaac, of Wawaka; Kandi Huff of Garrett; sons, Justin Blake Isaac of Bedford, KY, Keagan Michael Isaac of Virgie, Ky; daughter, Kaydence Le’one Isaac of Avilla; nephews Jackson Lee Isaac of Avilla, and Jordan Merlin Isaac of Auburn; 2 grandchildren, Karson Kiser and Neriah Kiser both of Angola,  and brother, Sterlin Isaac of Wawaka. He was preceded in death by his brother, Merlin Isaac, Jr., both maternal and paternal grandparents as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncle.

Verlin loved watching sports and spending time with his family.  He had heart of gold and always put everyone first. Verlin enjoyed working on cars and could fix anything. He was everyone’s friend and loved the Lord.

A service will be held in Verlin’s honor at 12 noon on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 4-7pm at the funeral home. Pastor Charles Barker will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery.
