Travis W Newcomer

Travis W Newcomer, age 30, of Ligonier, IN passed away unexpectedly as the result of an automobile accident that took place on Friday, June 19, 2020 in Syracuse, IN. He was born on November 11, 1989 the son of Bruce Newcomer and Nida Baker in Warsaw, Indiana.

He is survived by his mother, Nida and stepfather William Baker of Ligonier; his father, Bruce  and stepmother Susan Newcomer of Florida; a brother, Cody (Gabrielle) Newcomer of St. Louis, MO; his grandparents, Felomino and Lucina Barrete of Bohol, Philppines and Ursula Newcomer of Florida; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Newcomer.

Travis graduated from Warsaw High School in 2008.  He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years while being stationed in Germany and Japan. He was a valued and dependable employee, loved cats and was known as a “gamer” for his love of playing video games.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier. A private burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and heart felt prayers during this difficult and unexpected time.
