Tracey Howard

Tracey J. Howard, age 63, of Ligonier, passed away on November 16, 2023 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on August 6, 1960 to Rick Elijah & Lois (Musser) Courtright in Goshen, IN. On June 17, 1979 she married Dean Howard in Wawaka at the United Methodist Church.

Tracey loved spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it was babysitting them or watching their sporting events.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her husband, Dean of Ligonier; three children, Chad Howard of Ligonier; Melissa (Neal) Parks of Wolcottville; and Travis (Kaitlyn) Howard of Kendallville; ten grandchildren, Riley, Kaitlyn, Kingston, Nolan, Elanor, Brogan, Griffin, Aliyea, Zander, Kemper; and two sisters, Cheryl (Randy) Peterson of Ligonier, and Teresa Duncan of SC. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Elijah.

There will be a time of visitation for friends and family on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 3-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.

A funeral service will be held in Tracey’s honor on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Yeager Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Hillbish will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Brimfield.
