Timothy L. Dice

KIMMELL, IN - Timothy Lynn Dice, age 43, of Kimmell, IN passed away surrounded by family, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN.   He was born to the late Carles “Jim” and Denise J. (Daniels) Dice on February 25, 1975 in Goshen, IN.  On July 15, 1995, he married Millicent “Rhea” Leamon in Cromwell, IN, she survives.

He leaves his wife of 23 years, Rhea Dice of Kimmell, IN; three sons, Timothy, Dylan, and Dawson Dice, all of Kimmell, IN; mother, Denise (Wayne) Karnes of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Tonya (Jeff) McGuigan, of Kimmell, IN; nieces, Brianna and Kendra Slone; Uncle, Daryl (Peggy) Daniels of Syracuse, IN; as well as his two dogs, Labrador – “Bow Hunter” and Pitbull – “Ceasar”.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, Jim Dice; paternal grandparents, Lonie and Princess Dice; maternal grandparents, Elbert and Pauline Daniels; and Uncle, Greg Daniels.

Tim was a very busy individual.  You could find him enjoying the great outdoors while either hunting or fishing.  He loved being a husband and devoted father.  His friends would describe him as a loyal friend that truly liked to make people laugh and smile.  His favorite professional baseball team will forever be the Chicago Cubs.  Tim’s strong worth ethic showed through during his many years of service as a volunteer fire-fighter for the Ligonier Fire Department. He spent the last 10 years working for the NISCO company in Topeka, IN.

Family and friends will be received from 2 PM-8 PM on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.

A cremation committal will take place with Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN. A private burial will take place at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN at a later date.
