Steve Shepherd

Steve Shepherd, 77, of Helmer, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on April 24, 1947 the son of Burton and Avanell (Sexton) Shepherd in Hueysville, Kentucky.

Steve retired from Bostwick and Braun Company in Ashley, Indiana. Steve loved hunting and fishing and working in the garden.

He is survived by three children, Brian (Lorri) Shepherd of Ligonier, Eric (Diana) Shepherd of Auburn, and Amanda (Brandon) Schwartz of Bristol; seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Turner; and sisters, Bernice Bunn, Marlene Conley.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier, Indiana. A private family service will be held at a later date.
