Stanley “Chris” Jones, age 60, of Albion, IN passed away at Northridge Village in Albion, IN on Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was born on December 25, 1958 the son of Ora and Mazel (Terrell) Jones in Morehead, KY. He married Karen Cleaver; she preceded him in death on October 3, 2009.
He is survived by a son, Christopher R. Jones of Albion, IN; his mother, Mazel (Vernon) Mullins of Albion, IN; two siblings, Deborah (Dee) Frye of LaFayette, GA and Teresa (Tony) Heffner of Kimmell, IN; three granddaughters; two nieces; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife.
Chris graduated from Central Noble High School and worked for many years in maintenance and as a machinist at Dexter Axle and Pro Systems. He loved fishing in all seasons, cooking, was an expert mushroom hunter, and an avid reader.
In keeping with his wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center and his ashes will be laid to rest at Wolf Lake Cemetery at a later date.
