Shirley Mae Davis

Shirley Mae Davis, 72, of Cromwell, passed away on January 5, 2023 at home. She was born to Chester R. And Maggie Jane Moore (Wilson) Williams in Detroit, Michigan on December 20, 1950.

Shirley leaves behind her husband, William “Bill” Davis; six children, Tammy (Brian) Holden of Carlton, MI, John (Venus) Davis of Monroe, Michigan, Dawn (Jerry) Wilson of Midland, MI, Ronnie (Michael) Young of Warsaw, IN, Jammie (James Jr.) Mullins of North Webster, IN and Ricky Johnson of Warsaw, IN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and four siblings, Lois Morris, James Williams, Darell Williams, and Belinda Wiggington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Roger Johnson; and three siblings, Harlan Williams, Marlan Williams, and Iva Gross.

Shirley enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and taking many trips across the United States with her husband Bill.

In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
