Sheila Beam

Sheila Faye Beam, age 61, of Ligonier, passed away on Thursday April 21, 2022 at Still Water Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on July 9, 1960 in Fort Wayne, IN and was the daughter of Eugene Nicolet and Leila (Phelps) Hill. On October 29, 1980 she married Michael Beam in Lavina, Montana.

Above all else, Sheila’s family was her world, especially her grandchildren. She also loved turtles, canning, angels and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Michael Beam of Ligonier; children, Jason (Amber) Beam of Syracuse, Tya (Charles) Pearson of Kimmell; her grandchildren, Zachary Pearson, Jason Beam Jr., Mason Beam, Kenzie Beam; brothers, Joe (Doreen) Nicolet of Fort Wayne, Ron (Margo) Nicolet of Fort Wayne; a sister, Pam Ballor of Woodburn. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held in Sheila’s honor at 4 pm on Monday April 25, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Minister Chris Coney will officiate. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN.

Family and friends will be received from 1-4 pm  prior to the service on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home.
