Sharon Kaye Johnson, 61, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born on October 22, 1964 in Wolcottville to the late Marshall and Peggie (Caldwell) Baker.

Sharon worked for Jayco RV in Middlebury.

On April 5, 2014, in Syracuse, she married Lowell T. Johnson.

She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church.

In her free time, Sharon enjoyed crafting, spending time outside, gardening, tending to her flowers, and singing at church in her earlier days, but her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell; children, Brandon (Lynlee) Howard, Makala (Sean) Reidy, Todd (Christina) Johnson; and Steven Johnson; eleven grandchildren; and a sister, Lori Schrock.

A Funeral Service celebrating Sharon’s Life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier with calling one hour prior to the start of the service. Calling will also be on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
