Sharon Desper, age 66, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Ligonier, Indiana went to be with The Lord on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 4:15 am. She was born on November 24, 1956, the daughter of Garrett and Sharon Arrick Brownback, in Fort Wayne, IN.

Sharon graduated from West Noble High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Ball State. She worked for GDC. Sharon was a member of Ligonier Evangelical Church and enjoyed reading biographies, watching documentaries and reality TV. Rod Stewart was her favorite singer. She loved cats.

Sharon is survived by her brothers, William Hunter Brownback of Fayetteville, NC and Dean Arthur Brownback of Fort Wayne, IN; a cousin, Theresa Phipher of Berrien Springs, MI; and her church family.

A funeral service will be held in Sharon's honor on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 5 pm at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Josh Huggett will officiate. Burial will take place at 12 noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.

Family and friends will be received from 3-5 pm prior to the service on Friday at Yeager Funeral Home.
