Sandra "Sandi" K. Lusenhop

Sandra K. “Sandi” Lusenhop, age 78, of Ligonier, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday September 22, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 7, 1943 the daughter of Frederick and Marguerite Spurlock in Marion, Ohio. On October 4, 1991, she married Alan Lusenhop and together they shared almost 30 years of marriage together.

Sandi retired from Millennium Industries in 2010. She really enjoyed reading and making frequent visits to the library. Sandi was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Ligonier American Legion and enjoyed cheering for the Cincinnati Reds no matter how good or bad they were playing. She also enjoyed traveling, and especially enjoyed making trips to the casino to play the penny slots. In her younger years she was an avid bowler and bowled in many leagues and earned many WIBC awards and patches. She also enjoyed bowling in no-tap tournaments.

Sandi is survived by her husband, Alan Lusenhop of Ligonier, Indiana; two children, Annette Clinger of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Merri Lynn Hillborn of Ohio; grandchildren Maggie (Tim) Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, and Tyler Foight of Columbus, Ohio; sister Alice Cupp of Marion, Ohio; brother-in-law Jeffery (Ky) Lusenhop of South Carolina; and sister-in-law Tricia (Marty) Hildebrand of Brookville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with Sandi’s wishes, no public viewing or services will be held. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
