Sandra K. Barley

Sandra K. Barley, 55, of Ligonier passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Avalon Village in Ligonier. She was born to Ronald Sr. and Violet Wilkinson on December 28, 1968 in Goshen. Sandra was raised and spent most of her years in Kimmell.

Sandra was a devoted caretaker to her parents for many years. In her spare time, she liked to garden and loved doing crafts, including making dreamcatchers and sewing. Sandra’s true loves were her dogs, Cindy, Rose, and Gypsy. She loved spoiling them with her homemade dog treats from scratch.

Sandra is survived by her children, Ashley Barley of Ligonier, James (Bethany) Ames and Marie Ames, both of Richmond, and; granddaughters, Jessica, Hanna, and Rory Ames; siblings, Jeff (Tina) Wilkinson of Columbia City, Debie (Ian) Dotson of Anderson, Jennifer Wilkinson of Ligonier, Ronald (Sarah) Wilkinson, Jr. of Kendallville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Deanna Wilkinson.

A memorial service in Sandra’s honor will take place at a later date.
