Sally A. Christlieb

Sally A. Christlieb, age 75, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her home in Elkhart, IN. She was born on January 4, 1942 in Wawaka, IN the daughter of William & Norma (Householder) Swartz. On May 16, 1961, in Wawaka, IN she married Franklin “Earl” Christlieb; he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Chuck (Tammy) Christlieb, of White Pigeon, MI, Joe Christlieb of Elkhart, IN and Veronica Christlieb of Niles, MI, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children; Timothy Lee Christlieb, Rhonda Elbert, and her siblings, Ron Swartz, William Jr. Swartz, and Ozema Compton.

Sally was a devoted mother and amazing wife. Her passion was immersing herself in Native American Culture.  Elvis Presley kept Sally a lot of company.  Several family trips were spent visiting his property in Memphis, TN and listening to his music.  Sally was always helpful and really enjoyed her time working as a property manager for Shady Brooke Motel and Mobile Home Park with her husband.  All of her friends family will miss her including their family dog, Jack.

To honor Sally’s final wishes, a private family burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery.
