Rosa M. Ceballos

LaGrange, IN – Rosa M. Ceballos , age 68, of LaGrange, IN, passed away surrounded by family at her home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in LaGrange, IN. She was born on July 31, 1950 to Jose Ceballos and Ma. Carmen Romero, in Michoacan de Ocampo, Mexico.  On March 4, 1972 she married Jose Luis Munoz in Mexico.  He has since preceded her in death on February 13, 2012.

Rosa loved her family so very much.  She spent her life being a homemaker and a very good cook. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and traveling back and forth from Mexico to be with them. She also liked to make crafts and things in her spare time.  She will be missed by so many friends and family members.

She is survived by her son, Jose Luis Munoz Ceballos and his wife, Ma. Guadalupe Barrera, Cynthia, and their children, Cynthia Munoz Barrera, Tania Guadalupe Munoz Barrera; daughter, Anameli Munoz Ceballos and her husband, Jose Alfred Rubio Gonzalez, and their children, Maria del Carmen Barajas Munoz and Luis Javier Rubio Munoz; and brother, Gilberto Ceballos.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Ceballos and Ma. Carmen Romero; and husband of 41 years, Jose Munoz.

A funeral mass in Rosa’s honor will take place on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2PM at Holy Angel’s Catholic Church – 402 S. Nottawa St. Sturgis, MI 49401 , with Father Raul Gomez officiating.  A visitation will take place from 1PM on Friday, September 28, 2018 until the time of the service for friends and family.

Friends and family may gather at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767 beginning at 4PM - 10PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 following in to the evening with a Rosary Vigil.

Burial will take place in Zinapecuaro, Michoacoan, Mexico at a later date.
