Ronald Browning

Ronald Browning, age 78, of Albion, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 in Albion, Indiana. He was born on December 16, 1946 to William Earl and Esther (Johnston) Browning Sr. in Mishawaka, Indiana. On March 30, 1990, he married Sarah Twaits.

He is survived by his two children; Hal Browning of Milford, Indiana and Carla (Melvin) Ladig-Cormican of Fort Wayne; a grandson Kyle Phillips of Albion; sister, Cora Colley of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; sister-in-law’s, Martha Browning of Elkhart and Leona Browning of Fort Wayne; and several family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sarah Browning; brothers, William and Charles Browning; sister, Margaret Starkweather; and brother-in-law, Allan Starkweather and Marv Colley.

Ron had a passion for collecting classic cars and designing remote-controlled model planes. He found relaxation and enjoyment while bass fishing during his free time. Ron was always known to extend a helping hand and make a positive difference in the lives of others around him.

A visitation will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A funeral service will be held in Ronald’s honor at 11 am on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the funeral home. Reverend Maynard Miller will officiate. Burial will take place at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
