Rebecca "Becky" J. Mann

Rebecca  “Becky” J. Mann, age 71, of Elkhart, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 16, 2024 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born July 16, 1952 in Bremen, Indiana to Kenneth and Beulah (Felten) Weiss.

Becky is survived by her husband, Tom Mann of Elkhart; daughters, Tina (Don) Spiert of Granville, OH, Tammy (Steve) Ragland of Elkhart, IN and Tonya (Michael) Cerow of Indialantic, FL; grandchildren, Riley, Nick, Connor, Sutton, Pierce and Kian; brothers, Ed (Ardith) Weiss of Round Rock, TX, Tom (Sandie) Weiss of Osceola, IN, Dan Weiss of Goshen, IN and Fred (Mariah) Weiss of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceeded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Roxanne Weiss.

Becky grew up on a farm in Bremen, IN with her 4 brothers. She married the love of her life, Tom in 1972.  They settled in Elkhart, IN and raised three daughters. Becky worked from home with her sewing business while caring for her daughters when they were young. Later, she worked along side her husband for many years at a couple of businesses they co-founded. Becky worked for Horton Insurance formerly Schultz Insurance for over 20 years.  She was a loving, caring wife and mother, always giving her time to others. Becky enjoyed traveling, long walks, gardening, and spending time with family and dear friends…especially her grandchildren. She loved to worship and study God’s word. She was loved by all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a funeral service following at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 West Waterford Street, Wakarusa, Indiana 46573. Pastor Jon Pairitz will officiate. Burial will take place at Old Olive Cemetery (East) in Elkhart, Indiana.
