Raven V. Young

Raven V. Young, age 61, of Rochester, IN passed away on March 14, 2018 in Ligonier, IN. He was born on December 12, 1956 in Chicago, IL to Willie & Christine (Davis) Young. In August of 1995, he married Vetonia Williams in Rochester. She survives.

Mr. Young was a LPN and also worked for Lippert Components in Elkhart. He loved playing basketball, playing pool and working in the yard.

Raven leaves behind his wife; a daughter, Tiffany Lee of TN; a son, Michael Norris of MI; two step-sons, Michael Ray Williams of Chicago, IL, Jeremiah Williams of Atlanta, GA; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and a nephew, Malik Young.

There will be a funeral service in Mr. Young’s honor on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. F.H. Stamps Funeral Home in Chicago will be handling further services there. Burial will be in Mount Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Chicago, IL.
