Peggy Marie Hartsough

Peggy Marie Hartsough, 69, of Ligonier passed away on June 12, 2024 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born in Reed City, Michigan on July 29, 1954 to Orville and Yvonne (States) Rector.

Peggy loved clothes, jewelry, and showing off her beautiful nails. She thoroughly enjoyed feeling feminine, but she could be tough too, even working as a truck driver for a period of time. Peggy was a hard worker and as independent as they come, raising two boys on her own. She absolutely loved her grandkids and enjoyed giving them (as well as everyone else) a hard time. Peggy was also a great cook and loved to share meals with her family.

Peggy is survived by her son, Frank (Billiejo) Quinn of Ligonier; six grandchildren, Brittany (Caden) Blevins of Ligonier, Haley Quinn of New Philadelphia, OH, Aarica Quinn of Ligonier, Ethan Quinn of Ligonier, Kaylie Darrenkamp of Indiana, and Trinity Fleming of Indianapolis; a brother, Robert Rector of Pierceton; two sisters, Kathy Griffin and Carol Fulford both of Daredenlle, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Douglas Quinn; and three siblings, James Rector, Tom Rector, and Maryann Rector.

No public services will be held, a private cremation committal will take place.
