Paul Alan Fulford

Paul Alan Fulford, age 89, of Ligonier, IN passed on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Avalon Village in Ligonier, IN. He was born on April 28, 1929 the son of Nathan M. and Vada J. (Sparrow) Fulford in Wawaka, IN. On June 4, 1950 he married Virginia Rose Carpenter.

Survivors include, his sweetheart of 68 years, Virginia Fulford of Ligonier, IN; three children, Barry A. (Vonzeal) Fulford of Albion, IN, Terry (Susan) Fulford of North Webster, IN, and Cyndi (Keith) Yoder of Ligonier, IN; six grandchildren, Jason, Tamara, Melissa, Michael, Caitie, and Anna; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and two siblings, Georgia Snyder of Goshen, IN and Joseph C. Fulford of Ligonier, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Marion Fulford, Donald Fulford, and Harry Lee Fulford; along with a granddaughter, Tiffany Ritter.

Paul retired in 1991 from Kidd & Company after 37 years of faithful service. Following his retirement, he enjoyed wintering in “Frost Proof” Florida with his bride for many years. He was a member of the Wawaka United Methodist Church and a past president and member of the Sparta Conservation Club in Kimmell, IN. More than anything, loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in Paul’s honor on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier. Burial will follow at a later date in Cosperville Cemetery in Cosperville, IN. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
