Patrick L. Halferty, age 65, of Albion, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born on May 12, 1958 to Edward Wayne Halferty and Suzanne C. (Pfefferkorn) Lambright in Kendallville, Indiana.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Suzanne C. Lambright of Avilla; children, Justin (Kimberly) Halferty of Syracuse, Zachary Halferty of Huntertown, Rachel Manuel of Albion, David Manuel of Ligonier; four grandchildren; brothers, Michael E. Halferty of Auburn, Scott A. Lambright of Virginia Beach, VA; and a sister, Tammy (Brian) Halferty of Kimmell. He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Caitlyn Halferty and granddaughter, Kyla Halferty.
Patrick graduated from West Noble High School in 1976 and served in the U.S. Army from 1985-1986. Patrick loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. He enjoyed acting, playing Santa Claus and the Three Stooges. Patrick was known for always being giving and his great sense of humor. He loved spending time with all of his family and adored his grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held in Patrick’s honor at 1pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. His brother, Pastor Michael Halferty will officiate. Military honors will be rendered at the service. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier. Memorial contributions may be directed to Humane Society of Noble County, 1305 Sherman Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
