Nancy O'Connell

Nancy Gail O'Connell, a beacon of kindness and unwavering faith, passed away on April 19, 2025, in Ligonier, IN. Born on July 17, 1944, in Utica, NY, she embodied love and care throughout her life.

A dedicated mother, she leaves behind her loving daughters, Pauline Anderson and Jennifer (Jason) Hicks Sr.; her son, Mark (Angela Taylor) Kesterke; her precious grandchildren, Jason Hicks Jr., Jonathan Hicks, and Timothy Anderson; and dear great-grandchild, Lila Waddles. Nancy was the cherished sister of Jimmy (Carol) Krupa and Roger Krupa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Mary (Sawicki) Krupa, and her brother Richard Krupa.

She earned a Master's degree and served her community as a compassionate Registered Nurse. Nancy will be remembered for her loving nature and faith-filled heart. Her legacy is etched in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier, IN 46767.
