Nancy J. Lambright

Nancy J. Lambright, age 89, of Ligonier, passed away on January 27, 2025 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on April 14,1935 in Topeka, Indiana to Alfred LeRoy and Roxie M. (Lung) Sheley. She married Lewis Don Lambright on September 2, 1950 in Goshen, Indiana. He passed away on April 28, 1985.

Nancy is survived by her children, Dawn Waldron of Ligonier, April (Gary) Foster of Ligonier, Karla (Bill) Elliott of Ligonier; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Linda (Bob) Heltzel of LaGrange and Joyce Allen of Angola. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Patrick Sheley, Alfred Sheley Jr., and sister, Patricia Johnson.

Nancy was proud of her farming, enjoyed gardening, and generously shared her harvest. She loved her dog Molly and enjoyed raising dogs.

A service will be held in Nancy’s honor on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11 am at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A cremation committal will occur following the service at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
