Miranda A Tapia-Guzman

Miranda A. Tapia-Guzman, age 18, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Ligonier, Indiana. She was born on August 26, 2006 to Jose Tapia and Maria Guzman in Goshen, Indiana.

Miranda is survived by her mother, Maria Guzman of Ligonier and step-father, Latoye Gentry of South Bend; grandparents, Maria and Jesus Guzman of Ligonier, grandmother, Esthela Vera of Mexico; siblings, Mya Guzman of Ligonier, Jose Guzman of Ligonier, Ulysses Guzman of Ligonier and step-brother, Adrian Rodriguez of Goshen.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Tapia; sister, Bianca Guzman and grandfather, Gregorio Tapia-Sanchez.

Miranda was getting ready to graduate from West Noble High School. She loved baking, music, and playing soccer. Miranda loved her friends and family. She always enjoyed spending quality family time by having movie nights, playing games, and traveling. She always loved recording and capturing countless memories to look back on, to have a great laugh with her family. Her family will remember her as being the goofiest and silliest one, being always the life of the party.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 2-8pm at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A service will be held to commemorate the life of Miranda at 12 noon on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the funeral home. Pastor Samuel Landeros will officiate.
