As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary Margaret's legacy lives on through her daughter, Susan (Roy) Salazar; her son, Gary (Joyce) Lowery; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one cherished great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her loving siblings: Jane Sherrick, Joe Richards, Wayne (Birdie) Richards, Robert (Maria) Richards, Jimmy Richards, and many other brothers and sisters whose lives were deeply touched by her presence.

Mary Margaret dedicated her career to home health care, where her gentle spirit and nurturing nature brought comfort to countless individuals and families. More than a caregiver, she was a source of companionship and hope, offering not just medical support, but dignity and human connection to those in their most vulnerable moments.

Those who knew Mary Margaret will remember her for her open heart, her quiet strength, and her unwavering generosity. Family and friends may visit with the family from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier, IN 46767. Cremation rites to follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Laurelville, OH.
