Martin L. Bills

Martin L. Bills, age 68, of Shipshewana, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born on September 7, 1956 in Kendallville, Indiana to Ronald Bills and Martha Ilene Turner. Martin married Raelene Galvin on July 2, 2005 in Emma, Indiana.

Martin is survived by his wife of 20 years, Raelene Bills of Shipshewana; children, Arthur Francis (DaVonna) Bills of Albion and Angela (Todd) Ratcliff of Goshen; step-children, Michael (Rachael) Moniak of Fairbanks, AK, Ed (Carrie) Moniak of Cromwell, Timothy (Rina) Wariner of Federal Way, WA, Thomas Kinnison of Nevada, Greg Bills Jr, James Bills Jr. of Kendallville, Stephanie Wariner of North Webster, Shaelene (Katy) Martinez of Vernal Utah and Trish (Ed) Clark of Ligonier; multiple grand and great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald R. Bills of LaGrange, Donald Bills, Jerry L. (Dixie) Bills of White Pigeon, MI, Ricky D. (Connie) Bills of Goshen; sisters, Sylvia (Charles Warford) Bills of Shipshewana and Connie (Harold) Cummins of Rome City. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-law, Donna Galvin; father-in-law, Robert Galvin; brother-in-law, Richard Galvin.

Martin enjoyed the patient stillness of the hunt and the thrill of the strike at the end of his fishing line. He spent time revitalizing homes through various remodeling projects. Martin was a true gearhead that had a passion for working on cars.

Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Yeager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
