Marlena Kwilinski

Marlena S. Kwilinski, age 77, of Middlebury, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 in Syracuse, Indiana. She was born on February 18, 1948 to Dennis and Clara (Brock) Gilbert in Middletown, Ohio.

Marlena is survived by her husband, Edward Kwilinski of Middlebury, IN; children, Scott Kwilinski and his wife Christine and their sons Alexander and Michael of Wyoming, MI, Laura Niesen and her husband Joe and their sons Nathan and Hunter of Maine; brother, Jim Gilbert and his wife Karen; sisters, Vicki Blount and Debra Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Al Gilbert; and sisters, Patricia Terry and Judy Gilbert.

In keeping with Marlena’s wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
