Mark A. Hauguel

Mark A. Hauguel, 57, of Ligonier, Indiana, passed away on February 25, 2022 at his home.  He was born to Louis F. and Maryann (Ruszkowski) Hauguel on April 1, 1964 in Mishawaka, Indiana.  Mark married Lisa Tuvell on October 16, 2009 in South Bend, Indiana.

Mark is survived by his wife, Lisa Hauguel of Ligonier, Indiana; his parents Louis and Maryann Hauguel of Ocala, Florida; a son Anthony Hauguel of Lafayette, Indiana; sister, Monica (John) Wheaton of Hondo, Texas and two nieces.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Louis and Mary Hauguel; maternal grandmother, Clementine Ruszkowski; maternal aunt, Angela Moskwinski and several uncles.

Mark graduated from South Bend Washington High School in 1982 and Vincennes University in 1984.  Mark worked as a Technologist at Bosch for 25 years. He was a jack of all trades and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. Mark had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He was very smart and built his own computers. He could build anything, including a second story on his house and a completely renovated, expanded kitchen. He loved football and played on the Washington High team in high school. He was a great cook and had several specialties people loved. He also had a soft spot for animals. A funeral service will be held in Mark’s honor at 2pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor John Lutton will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12 noon-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Service in Ligonier. The family request that masks be worn for anyone attending the visitation and funeral
