Mark S. Brown

Mark S. Brown, 70, of Albion, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born on February 20, 1955 to Fay Brown and Carolyn (Klemm) Hanauer in Columbia City, Indiana. He married Christine Cunning on August 25, 2007 in Columbia City.

Mark is survived by his wife, Christine Brown; mother, Carolyn Hanauer; daughters, Tara Strieby, Sarah (Gabriel Medina)Bollet, Julie (Brian) Edmonds; step-daughters, Sarah (Michael) Switzer, Lisa (Justin) Hedden; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daren Shaffer, Brad Moody; sisters, Brenda (Dan) Becker, Terri Robinson, Paula Conrad, Elaine (Todd) Reidenbach; step-sisters, Penny Myers and Becky (Mitch) Flannery. He was preceded in death by his father, Fay Brown; Step-mother, Marcella Brown; son, Wesley Brown and half-sister, Shelia Brown-Hoppus.

Mark was an auto body technician most of his life. He loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed fishing, taking walks and being by the lake.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10am-2pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A service will be held at Yeager Funeral Home following the visitation at 2pm. Burial will take place at Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery in Albion, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be directed to Yeager Funeral Home or David Rogers Park in LaGrange. Yeager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
