Marilyn Jean (Moser) Miller, Ligonier, IN, passed away on August 3, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1937, to Martha E (Hire) Moser and Robert M Moser in Ligonier, Indiana. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Marilyn married the love of her life, Lester D Miller on November 27, 1955, at Richville UM Church. Marilyn and Lester enjoyed spending winters in Sarasota, Florida after retirement. Both Marilyn and Lester enjoyed watching their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren participate in sports and musical events.

Marilyn was a graduate of Ligonier High School, Class of 1955. She had many meaningful roles in her life which included housewife, secretary, and bookkeeper at various organizations. Marilyn was a charter member of the Chatterbells Home Economics Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Lester.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Robin (Joyce) Miller of Ligonier; Kristen (Dale) Cox of Bradenton, FL; and Timothy “Tim” (Tracy) Miller of Ligonier. She also leaves behind seven treasured grandchildren—Lorielle (Pete) Phares, Robin (Ben) Bickle, Joel (Luci) Cox, Joshua (Hayley) Cox, Reed (Kalynn) Miller, Tara (Brandon) Pruitt, and Tori (Andrew) Hagerman, and nine great-grandchildren—Nichelle and Nevin Phares, Benton and Aubin Bickle, Charlotte and Christopher Cooper-Cox, Gracelynn and Colter Miller, and Grayson Pruitt.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at the Grace Lawn Cemetery in Middlebury. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date for family and friends. Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier, IN 46767, is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Richville Community Church of Ligonier.
