Mable Leamon

Mable Leamon, 89, of Cromwell, passed away on April 7, 2019 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.  She was born on March 3, 1930 to the late Charlie and Ollie (Stevens) Hackworth.  She married Arthur Boyd Leamon. He passed away on May 4, 2002.  Mable worked at Spencer’s Toy in Cromwell for 15 years.

Mable is survived by a son, Arthur “Butch” Leamon of Ligonier; grandson, Chris (Marie) Leamon of Avilla; great-grandchildren, Mya Leamon and Charlie Leamon. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Shawn Leamon; daughter-in-law, Carol Leamon; brothers, Bruce and Troy Hackworth; sisters, Bev Hackworth, Rose Gillies, Alka Hale and Minerva Arnett.

A funeral service will be held in Mable’s honor on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12 noon at Yeager Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm Friday, April 12, 2019 at Yeager Funeral Home.  Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate the service.  Burial will take place in Sparta Cemetery.
