Lula Mae Snyder

Lula Mae Snyder, age 89, of Peru, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 2:25 am at Parkview Noble in Kendallville, IN. She was born on May 25, 1931, the daughter of Carlie and Katie Ray in Henderson, TN. She married Harry P. Snyder Sr. on May 17, 1952.

She is survived by five children, Vicky (Jim) Richter, Carl (Reva) Snyder, and Lawrence (Cheryl)  Snyder all of Peru, IN, Harry (Sherry) Snyder of Cromwell, IN, and Johnny (Debora)  Snyder of Rome City, IN; eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry P. Snyder, Son, David Snyder; her parents; and seven siblings.

Lula was a civil servant and cook at Grissom Air Force Base in Peru for over twenty years. She attended the Assembly of God in Peru, IN and loved to garden.

A funeral service will be held in Lula’s honor at 4 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Joey Nelson will officiate.

Family and friends will be received from 1-4 prior to the service at Yeager Funeral Home on Sunday.

Burial will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport, IN on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 1pm.
