Lowell Gene Showalter

Lowell Gene Showalter, 80, of Cromwell, Indiana, passed away on May 23, 2022 at his home.  He was born to Stahly and Fern (Hooley) Showalter on February 4, 1942 in Sturgis, MI.  Lowell Married Cindy Lee McBride on July 12, 1975.

Lowell is survived by his wife Cindy; sons Steve (Marlo) Showalter of Goshen, IN, Jeremy Showalter of Elkhart, IN; brother Ron (Tamylia) Showalter of Union, MO; and sisters Phyllis (Carl) Metzler of Goshen, IN, Darlene (Lynn) Miller of Denver, CO, Diane (David) Lehman of Goshen, IN, Delores (Mark) Showalter of Lititz, PA; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Todd Showalter.

Lowell enjoyed being outdoors, while it be in the snow or in the water skiing.  He enjoyed working most of all.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.  A memorial service will be held in Lowell’s honor at 4:00 PM on June 11, 2022 at The Greencroft Center in Goshen, IN.
