Lloyd R. “Rusty” “Pops” Hollowell, 78, of Albion passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at his residence.

He was born on January 30, 1948 in Clinton to the late John and Charlet (Yokem) Hollowell.

On June 26, 2022 he married Cheryl Beardsley.

Lloyd had worked for several area factories.

In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed shooting, fishing, hunting, and gardening. Most of all, Lloyd loved his family and friends and greatly enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, Christopher (Michelle) Hollowell, Tina (Aaron) McAlister, Tiffany (Joe) Perry, Michelle (Isaac) Binch, and Sondra (Nick) Norton; 15 grandchildren; and siblings, Lana Ostrander, Anita Miller, and Thomas Hollowell.

Also preceding him in death were his first wife, Carol; and brother, John Hollowell.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier with Calling from 12 noon until the start of the service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Oak Park Cemetery.
