Lloyd T. Halsey

Lloyd T. Halsey, age 69, passed away on October 12, 2021 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to Glenwood and Merldena (Stump) Halsey on February 26, 1952 in Wolf Lake, Indiana. He married Virginia DeLaCruz on April 11, 1995 in Syracuse, Indiana.

Lloyd is survived his wife Virginia Halsey of Cromwell; son, Robert (Marley) Halsey of Cromwell; Sherry Blankenbeckler of Ohio; step-children, Robert Fetters of Warsaw, Tanya Huffer of Leesburg, Sonya Wroblewski of Syracuse, Mike Fetters of North Webster, Chris Fetters of Albion; 25 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lonnie Halsey of Columbia City, Lamar Halsey of Syracuse, Lance Halsey of Cromwell, Lowell Halsey of Wawaka; sister, Linda (Joe) Marvel of Milford. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Pam Halsey.

A private family service will be held in Lloyd’s honor at a later date. A cremation comitial will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.

Lloyd was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He loved fishing, going casino, setting outside, westerns and spending time with his family. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
