Linzie Mote Jr.

Linzie Mote Jr., 57, of Cromwell, Indiana, passed away on May 21, 2022 at his home.  He was born to Linzie Mote Sr. and Hazel (Green) Black on August 15, 1964 in Avon Lake, OH.

Linzie is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Nicholas & Stacey) Mote of Kendallville, IN; a son Christopher Wade (Sherry) Mote of Albion, IN; 10 grandchildren; sister, Sara (Richard) Evans of West Virginia; brothers, Ronald (Anya) Mote of West Virginia and Blaine Mote of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Chuck Mote.

Linzie loved being outdoors, rather it be hunting, fishing, trapping or just being on his boat. He also enjoyed listening to music.  But his greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids.

A cremation comitial will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.  A memorial service will be held in Linzie’s honor at a later date.
