Leroy "Lee" Nolan Fowler

LeRoy "Lee" Nolan Fowler, Jr., age 50, of South Bend, IN, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was born on September 21, 1966, the son of LeRoy and Connie (Rader) Fowler in Elkhart, IN. On April 17, 2010 he married Jackie Rynearson; she survives.

Survivors include, his wife, Jackie Fowler of South Bend, IN; a daughter, Haven Fowler of Sheridan, IN;  a step-daughter, Jasmine (Heath) Torres of South Bend, IN; an extremely beloved grandson, Ezekiel "Bubby" Torres of South Bend, IN; parents, LeRoy & Connie Fowler of Elkhart, IN; two brothers, Daniel Fowler of Carmel, IN, and Michael (Christie) Fowler of Edwardsburg, MI; nieces and nephews, Kane, Drew, Kyle, Brailey, Zach, Samantha (husband, Dylan), Shelby, Sway, and Raymond; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Lee was a traveling children's evangelist who founded " 4:18 Ministries" and traveled extensively across the United States, sometimes appearing as Leebo the Clown, touching countless lives along the way. Words truly cannot describe the impact he had on his friends, family, and church. He was a loving husband, father, and uncle, an ecstatic grandpa, a devout friend, and an encourager to all. Lee was also a hard and diligent worker who owned and operated his own small business for years. He was a veteran who served his country honorably in the United States Army. Lee also had a love for coaching and playing sports, as well as playing semi-pro football in his younger years. More than anything, and above all else, Lee was a soul winner for Christ.

A Celebration of Lee's life in Christ will be held at 12 noon on Saturday July 1, 2017 , at Life Tabernacle, 1135 Middlebury Street, Elkhart, IN 46516 . Pastor Mark Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg, MI.

Family and friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Friday, June 30, 2017 , at the Life Tabernacle Church and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Memorials in Lee's honor may be directed to 4:18 Ministries/Life Tabernacle, or online at www. elkhartlife.com .
