Leila Edwards

Leila Edwards, age 87, of Ligonier, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier IN. She was born to Lloyd and Madge Keim of Wawaka, IN on January 25, 1935. Her husband, Philip Edwards, proceeded her in death in December of 1988.

She is survived by her children Sue (Brent) Lambright, Sierra Vista of Arizona, Jon (Kris) Edwards of Kimmell, IN, Sara (Brad Geiger) Weeks of Albion, IN, Fred Edwards of Kimmel IN, and Karen (Paul) Abel of Huntertown, along with 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a grandson, Ryan Weeks.

Leila was a devoted homemaker, an excellent cook, and an avid reader in her spare time.

A visitation will be held for Leila from 3-7 pm on Monday December 12, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.

Leila will be laid to rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN. Family and friends will gather at Yeager Funeral Home from 10-11 am prior to her burial.
