Laron Paul Beyer, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, in Kimmell, Indiana, at the age of 89. Born on November 15, 1935, in Lansing, Michigan, to Wilmer and Geraldine (Parker) Beyer, Laron was a true pillar of strength and kindness throughout his life.

Laron is survived by his devoted wife, Marla (Kenaga) Beyer, his anchor and partner in all of life's adventures. Their union was a testament to enduring love and shared joy. He will be forever cherished by his children, Steven (Judie) Beyer of Frisco, Texas, and Laura (Todd) Taykowski of Lebanon, Tennessee. Laron was a guiding star to his four grandchildren, Anitra, Addison, Braxton, and Garrett, and to his seven great-grandchildren. His wisdom will live on in their hearts and actions. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Sharon (Charlie) Stemen of Tekonsha, Michigan.

After attending some college, Laron went on to have a successful career, ultimately retiring as Vice President and General Manager from Fort Wayne Storage. His impressive professional life was matched by a rich personal one. His move to Kimmell in 1992 was marked by years filled with community involvement and spiritual fulfillment. As an active member of Grace Community Church in Goshen, Indiana, Laron lived his faith and embodied the spirit of community service and support.

In addition to his deep commitment to his faith, Laron was an esteemed member of the Fight Club community, graduating 13 chapters and recognized as one of the oldest living members. This association was a testament to his dedication, strength, and character, shaping not only his personal identity but also leaving a legacy for others to aspire to.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10 am to 11 am at Grace Community Church, 20076 Co Rd 36, Goshen, IN 46526. A service will be held to commemorate the life of Laron at 11 am following the visitation on Friday, June 20. Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center, 1274 Lincoln Way South, Ligonier, IN 46767, is assisting the family with arrangements.
