Kitty "Cookie" Collins

Kitty “Cookie" Collins, age 63, of Wolf Lake, IN passed away at home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 following an extended illness. She was born on March 28, 1959 the daughter of Elliot and Georgia Ann (Owsley) Collins.

Kitty was a devoted Christian and loved reading God’s Word, spending hours in the Bible daily. She also enjoyed drawing and loved her grand-babies. Kitty especially enjoyed loading them up with sugar before sending them home.

She is survived by her daughter, Georgia (Kenny) Kline of Wolf Lake, IN; six grandchildren, Jeff Monroe, Amanda Collins, Kenny Kline, Tristan Kline, Dakota Kline, and Mariah Kline; Great-grandchildren, Blake Collins, Skyler Duty, Sebastian McNeal, and Piper McNeal; and two brothers, Elliot Collins Jr. or Ligonier, IN and Leo Collins of Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom Collins and Buddy Collins.

A funeral service will be held in Kitty’s honor at 2pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN. Chaplain Kenneth will officiate. Burial will follow at Orange Township Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 12-2 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Memorial contributions in Kitty’s honor may be directed to the local church of the donor’s choice.
